Vegito is a supremely powerful fused warrior from the Dragon Ball franchise, specifically appearing in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. He is the result of the Potara fusion between Goku and Vegeta.
The Potara Earrings, provided by the Supreme Kais, allow for a permanent and significantly more potent fusion than the Fusion Dance. Vegito's power level vastly exceeds that of either Goku or Vegeta individually, making him one of the strongest characters in the series.
First appearing to combat Super Buu (Gohan Absorbed), Vegito effortlessly overwhelmed the powerful villain. He deliberately allowed himself to be absorbed to rescue Gohan, Piccolo, Goten, and Trunks. However, the fusion unexpectedly separated within Buu's body due to the altered atmosphere.
Vegito later reappeared in Dragon Ball Super to fight Fused Zamasu. This time, the fusion was explicitly stated to be temporary for mortals due to the earrings' limitations when used by non-Kais. Despite his immense power, he could not defeat Zamasu within the time limit.
